A note on teaching sharing to neurodiverse people.
There are many times when sharing is appropriate. However, just a word about sharing and neurodiversity. For some neurodiverse individuals, sharing brings on a multitude of challenges.
Some people are not able to stay regulated when they see part of a set split into pieces (for example, a crayon set split up and shared between different people) Or, they may have an item that is of special importance to them. These items may not be appropriate for sharing.
