I provided this resource for a student with disabilities whose teacher was at her wit's end trying to teach him the appropriate vs. inappropriate settings for masturbating. With the support of this resource, the student reduced his masturbation activities in the classroom, alleviating stress for the student, teacher, and other participants in the classroom.
Great independent work for my students with multiple disabilities!
I teach a functional skills K-3 class for the first time this year. I had seen this type of activity many times and based on review feel this is exactly what I need to be doing with my kiddos this year. I am very excited to see what progression this activity will possibly show with my kids. I intend to do the print version. Many pictures for their photo albums will be taken. This activity is something my kids will work on daily. Thank you for sharing!
love these!! They are the ideal way to work on increasing syntax and use with my AAC users.
My students completed this activity as an independent work task! They loved working at the ice cream parlor!!
This is a great book for helping kids understand about biting and making good choices.
Beautifully made resource! My students loved it and it has saved me so much time! Thank you!!
Love, Love, Love this resource. Love the real pictures!
Asking questions can be a difficult topic to teach to students on the autism spectrum. I love that this resource uses real photographs and is visually engaging for my students. I use it frequently.
Love this activity! Super engaging!
Great resource to supplement colourful semantics lessons.
Good to use for shapes beyond the basic square, circle, triangle....
This came at the most perfect time for one of my students on the spectrum who uses AAC. He responded so well to the story!
