A note on teaching sharing to neurodiverse people.

There are many times when sharing is appropriate. However, just a word about sharing and neurodiversity. For some neurodiverse individuals, sharing brings on a multitude of challenges.

Some people are not able to stay regulated when they see part of a set split into pieces (for example, a crayon set split up and shared between different people) Or, they may have an item that is of special importance to them. These items may not be appropriate for sharing.Social Narratives Benefits
