Lacing is a perfect fine motor activity to prepare little hands for handwriting!

These lacing cards help develop a pincer grasp, improve hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

It’s hard work to get the string in and out of little holes! Students are also developing skills such as using both hands and working in midline, which are precursors to cutting, reading and writing!
