Neurodiversity Affirming Perspective Taking:

In this story, perspective taking as a social skill gets a much needed update!

Gone are the days where we talk about one-directional perspective taking where a neurodivergent individual is tasked with understanding their neurotypical peers.

In this neurodiversity-affirming social skills story, students can explore the dynamic that exists between any two or more people: I can try to understand you and you can try to understand me.

Includes strategies to help any person take the perspective of another.

    Perspective Taking made easy!

This tool is wonderful … love the diversity of the pictures, the SEL & phrases offered for individuals to use in place of dysregulating.

And my favorite feature - a link to edit it so it can be individualized for each client. 🌈✨♥️

As long as we stick to a schedule and he knows what is expected then he is okay.
First this, then that. A timer is great! Finding other engaging activities also helps!
